Union Public Service Commission Civil Services IAS 2015 Exam Pattern

The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) will conduct IAS Preliminary Examination on August 23rd, 2015.

Exam pattern: The preliminary Exam consists of objective type (multiple choice questions) each of 200 marks and carries a total of 400 marks. The question papers are set both in Hindi and English. The duration of the paper is of two hours. The blind candidates are permitted extra time of 20 minutes for each paper.	Educational qualification: The candidates must have acquired a degree from a recognised university or institute. Those who have appeared or intend to appear for the qualifying examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear for the exam.
Selection: 1.Preliminary Examination, 2.Main Examination, 3.Interview. Important dates: Date of the exam: August 23, 2015.	Age limit: Candidates should be 21 years and maximum 32 years. Relaxation would be provided as per the government norms to the reserved category.
